The records consist of an account book, dating from 1780-1786, that details Nathan White’s business as a currier.  The majority of the transactions are for the treatment and sale of skins.  Each entry lists the name of the customer, date, goods or services provided, price, and method of payment (cash, barter, or labor).  White’s customers were primarily from Middlesex and Somerset counties.
