Pan, southern New Jersey, about 1850
Pan, southern New Jersey, about 1850
Greenish bottle/window glass.
Gift of Mrs. Joseph S. Frelinghuysen. 1958.30

To make a shape like this pan - used for cooling fresh cow's milk - a glassblower would have blown the glass freely and not used a mold.
