Trailblazers in 20th Century Newark: Mary B. Burch, E. Mae McCarroll, and Hilda Hidalgo

Newark History Society program will feature presentations on three women who were trailblazers in 20th Century Newark. Barbara Kukla will talk about the pioneering doctor E. Mae McCarroll; Betty Neals will discuss Mary B. Burch and her extraordinary work with the Leaguers; and Olga Jimenez Wagenheim will review the remarkable career of scholar and activist Hilda Hidalgo. Gail Malmgreen is the moderator for this Women's History Month program.

This event will take place on Monday, March 18 at 6pm at the New Jersey Historical Society, 52 Park Place in Newark.
