The Summers of the Sixties-Sixes

Were you in Newark in 1967? Or were you living in a surrounding suburb? Did you remember hearing aboutor did you live throughthe violence that broke out that summer? Or are there other similar events that unfolded in Newark or in other New Jersey cities that you recall? If so, we would like to hear from you.

The New Jersey Historical Society, in collaboration with museums in Washington, D.C., Detroit, and California, is mounting a research project. We would like to find out more about peoples experiences in what some call civil disorders, others riots, others rebellion. Whatever your perspective, we would like to hear from you.
