“Eumenes.” Educated at Harvard, Jacob Green served as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church at Hanover, Morris County, from 1746 until his death in 1790. Before and during the Revolutionary War, he supported the colonists’ cause and wrote extensively on political, social, and economic issues.
