The source of these diaries is unknown.
This collection consists of twelve diaries kept by Mary E. Rogers between the years of 1934 and 1953, as well as her address book. The diaries give a daily account of the weather and what Mrs. Rogers did during the day. Most of her activities involved doing household chores, running errands, or going out shopping, to lunch, or to the beauty parlor. In the diaries there are assorted newspaper clippings, postcards, letters and business cards. Among the newspaper clippings are articles having to do with the Second World War.
