Summary:

Constitution and membership list of a political club dedicated to “the election of Henry Clay to the Presidency of the United   States in 1844.” Clay’s running mate on the Whig ticket was Theodore Frelinghuysen.  Among the club’s members were Peter H. Ballantine, Joseph P.  Bradley, Silas Condit (1778- 1861), Frederick T. Frelinghuysen, Cortlandt Parker, and Beach Vanderpool.
