Kept as a millwright in Springfield, Union County. A resident  of Springfield, Theodore was the son of Joseph Pierson. In addition to his occupation as a millwright, he served as Judge of the Court of Common Pleas for ten years, was a freeholder in 1865 and 1868, township assessor from 1848 to 1853, and from 1859 to 1864. He was a member of the Town Council, 1855-56, and was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 1861. He was also active in the Democratic Party.
