The Seabrooks were early residents of Monmouth County, New Jersey.  Thomas Seabrook, the son of Mary Brown and Daniel Seabrook, was born on February 16, 1735.  He earned the rank of major in the Revolutionary War and married Martha Tallman, with whom he had five children: Stephen, Thomas Jr., Hannah, Mary, and Martha.  Thomas Seabrook, Sr. died on February 22, 1805.

Stephen Seabrook, Martha and Thomas’s son, was born in 1759.  Like his father, he fought in the Revolutionary War.  He married Nancy Tice, with whom he had six children: Martha, Maria, James, John, Daniel, and Anna.  In 1812, after the death of his wife Nancy, Stephen married the widow Sarah Hendrickson.  Stephen Seabrook died on October 15, 1843.

Stephen Seabrook’s brother, Thomas Jr., married Ann Longstreet.  Thomas and Ann Seabrook had eight children together: Aaron Longstreet, Mary, Aaron, Ellen, Lydia H., Thomas, Martha, and Henry.
