This volume consists of three parts: the first is an account of David B. Williamson with James M. Quimby from 1836, the second is an inventory of the estate of James Dawes taken from 1844-1846, and third consists of land and genealogical notes of the Hayes family. It appears that James M. Quimby employed David B. Williamson and also sold him items such as a hammer, cotton, buttons, and white silk. This account includes dates, items purchased, and Williamsons wages. The second part of this volume is an inventory of the property of James Dawes at the time of his death in 1844. Following this is a reference to the estate of S. Hayes written in 1845. The Hayes Family portion of this volume contains:
— Measurements of properties belonging to J.H., Elizabeth, Jacob, Sam, and James Hayes.
— Transcription of a deed for Newark property sold to Thomas Hayes by Joseph Osborn in 1709.
— Birth and death dates for the families of Thomas Hayes, Thomas Hayes II (d. 1749), Joseph Hayes, Major Samuel Hayes (1728-1811), and Samuel Congar. The Hayes Family married members of the Camp, Bruen, Beach, Pierson, Crane, Day, and Pennington Families.
