This collection of hand-drawn and colored copies of seventeenth,
eighteenth, and early-nineteenth-century maps and land
surveys of parts of Burlington, Mercer, Middlesex and Monmouth
counties was probably compiled by Hutchinson around 1879.
Volume
A is predominantly comprised of material from Hamilton and
Lawrence Townships, Mercer County, and eastern Middlesex County.
Volume
B contains maps and survey of Upper Freehold, Monmouth County,
and is indexed.
Volume
C contains many maps and surveys for Hamilton and Washington
townships, Mercer County, and Burlington County as well as
drawings for the First Presbyterian Church at “Nottingham
Square.”
Volume
D contains mainly Washington Township, Mercer County maps and
surveys. An index is included.
