Papers, 1851-1915, 1 Folder.
A series of mortgages, deeds, bonds and releases pertaining to
the Wyckoff, Wikoff, Schenck, Bainbridge, Hagemann, Garretson,
Hoagland, Van Doren, Beardslee, Staats, Ahern, and Ogden families
of Somerset County, New Jersey. In addition, the collection
includes the will of Abram Ditmass and Valentine greetings,
several of which are addressed to Catharine M. Powelson. Many
of the legal papers concern the transactions of Peter W. Wyckoff
who lived in Millston, Hillsborough, and Chatham, New Jersey
between 1866-1887.
