Safety, Provincial Congress, fifth mayor of Elizabeth.

 
Copybook, 1739-1786. 1 vol.

 

 
Contains copies of deeds, mortgages, releases, financial
accounts, a currency conversion table, and calendar with
notations about days travelled and notes on foods consumed.
Copies of letters sent to Elias Boudinot and copies of letters
received from various individuals.  Also includes a copy of
“An ordinance for regulating and establishing the fees
hereafter to be taken by the Officers of the Court of Chancery of
the Province of New Jersey by his excellency Jonathan Belcher,
Esq.” (1753), “the laws and ordinances of the
corporation of the borough of Elizabeth in New Jersey,”
(1740-1762), “The charter of the Borough of Elizabeth in New
Jersey” (1739).
