Mostly letters from individual New Jersey congregations nominating their “messengers” or representatives to the annual Baptist Association meeting in Philadelphia and occasionally in New York. Includes seven letters, 1760-1764, 1790, of Reverend Isaac Eaton, founder of the Public Grammar School in Hopewell, New Jersey.
