Summary:

Diaries, 1843-1891; letters received and copies and drafts of a few letters sent, 1836-1892; letters of condolence, 1892, and some letters concerning Bradley dated as late as 1936; speeches; journal of law cases, 1842-1869; documents relating to his law practice, including Bell Telephone, Charles Goodyear, Morse telegraph, and other patent cases, and railroad cases involving the Camden and Amboy and other railways, and the Delaware and Raritan Canal; documents relating to cases which came before the U.S. Supreme Court while Bradley was a member, including the Alaska seal case, Charles J. Guiteau’s appeal, the Slaughterhouse cases, and the Legal Tender cases; genealogical notes; printed materials by and about Bradley.
