A hand-corrected copy of Samuel Miller’s Brief History of the Theological Seminary of the Presbyterian Church at Princeton, New Jersey, which was published in Princeton in 1838 by John Bogart. Miller was a founder of the seminary and a professor of church history and government. Born near Dover, Delaware, Miller was a Presbyterian pastor in New York City before joining the Princeton Theological Seminary faculty. He wrote extensively, concentrating on history and biography.
