Research and lecture notes; copies of documents; petitions; drafts of
published and unpublished essays on New Jersey history and institutions,
slavery, medical and scientific subjects. Included are manuscript
materials pertaining to the Medical Society and the New Jersey Prison Reform
Association. Dr. Mulford was a Camden physician and an active member of
various medical societies. He spoke out in favor of prison reform and
supported the antislavery and temperance causes. A member of

which was published in 1848.
