He married Mary Simouson on November 25, 1779. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Content NoteThis collection consists of Adriaen Hegeman, Jr.’s arithmetic exercise book, commonly known in the eighteenth century as a ciphering book, dating from 1766 to 1768. Topics covered in the book include practice copies of bonds, arithmetic problems, and money conversion tables. An illustration of the points of the compass on the final page completes the volume.
