Karl Regg, Karl Hartmann, George Schmidbauer, and Joseph Muller
were the founders of what became the Mandolin Club of Newark.
These four men began playing together for WOR-AM radio from
1932-1933 and later played on WGCP. In 1934 they advertised
their group and expanded their membership. The collection
includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs,
concert programs, 1945-1966, and other memorabilia. Much is
written in German. Inventory available.
