Rush complied his history of the Denman family during the years 1934-1946. The Denman family originated in England. Family records indicate that John Denman, the first man to bear the family name, was born in 1430. The first member of the family to immigrate to America was also named John Denman; he was born in 1621 and resided in Massachusetts. Rachel Denman, born in 1774, was among the earliest of the Denman family to live in Succasunna, New Jersey. Scope and Content NoteThis collection consists of a manuscript divided into fifteen chapters. Compiled by C.W.
