A, l5th New Jersey Volunteers; memorial proceedings

the Lawyer’s Club of Essex County on February 8, 1916 in
Emery’s
honor; some records of the l5th Regiment New Jersey
Volunteer
Veterans Association and its Women’s Auxiliary, collected
in 1920 and 1921 by Emery and his wife Alla. After receiving
his discharge from the Army in 1863, Emery studied law and
was
admitted to the bar in 1865. Between 1894 and 1915 he served
as a
vice-chancellor of NewJersey.
