Memorandum and commonplace book, 1864 – 1865. 1 vol.
Contains patriotic verse, recipes, transcriptions of letters and
special orders, occasional diary and daybook entries, recounting
of Plank Road events during the Battle of Boynton, Petersburg,
and Chickamauga. Rossiter began his service as a Corporal
in Company K of the Eleventh Regiment Infantry and was mustered
out in 1865 after having been a Captain of Company F. This
volume is indexed.
