Contains inscriptions and salutations addressed to George H.
Neill, Princeton University Class of 1860, by his friends in the
classes of 1859-1863. Neill served as a private and first
lieutenant in the Confederate Army. He was wounded at the
battle of Chickamauga and after recovery was assigned to post
duty. After the war, Neill became a planter in Columbus,
Georgia.
