An assorted group of financial records, 1863-1875, receipts, pew rent accounts, and records of burials. These sexton’s records span the years, 1853-1875, and contain the date that graves were opened and the names of specific decedents, whether the decedent was black, and the costs for digging. The names of black and white persons are listed. Much of the materials not having to do with burials were signed by George C. Lucas, pastor of the church from 1863-1873.
