Commonplace book, May 1830-?
A commonplace book kept by Matthias Clark of Westfield, N.J.,
containing mainly verse, homilies, and advice. It also
includes a list of his military expenses and dates of regimental
company meetings that he attended. Letters from his
father-in-law, John Miller, to Clark and his wife, Mary Ann
Clark, can be found in MG 25.
