Biographical Note

The Klocksiem-Stavenhagen family emigrated from the Mecklenburg-Schwerin area of Germany to the United States in 1869 or 1870. Mary Klocksiem-Ditzenberger lived in Hoboken, New Jersey for most of her life. Catherine Schwalm-Conklin resided in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey.

Scope and Content Note

This is primarily a genealogy collection consisting of the family tree of the Klocksiem-Stavenhagen family and its addendum, compiled in 1983. Accompanying the family tree is a series of photographs of various family members, dating from 1933-1983.
