Biographical Note

Meyer Keilsohn was an amateur photographer from Maryland who took photographs of various locations. These photographs are from his travels to New Jersey.

Scope and Content Note

Consists of materials from the travels of Meyer Keilsohn. In this collection are the pictures he took of various New Jersey towns and landmarks. Included are towns such as Trenton, Princeton, Asbury Park, Atlantic City, Perth Amboy, Union and others. Among the landmarks photographed are the New Jersey Turnpike and the Delaware Memorial Bridge. There are photographs of many streets, theatres, historical landmarks, boardwalks, beaches, oceans and many others. These images come from the 1960s and 1970s and are a good basis to observe what New Jersey looked like during that time.
